Breakfast
Overnight Oats with Berries
Overnight oats are one of the easiest make-ahead breakfasts there is. Rolled oats soften in milk and Greek yogurt in the fridge, chia seeds thicken the mix, and a handful of berries adds color and natural sweetness. Make two jars at once and you have breakfast sorted for a couple of mornings.

Instructions
Step 1: In a medium bowl, stir together the oats, milk, Greek yogurt, chia seeds, vanilla, cinnamon and maple syrup (if using) until no dry oats remain.
Step 2: Divide the mixture between two jars or lidded containers.
Step 3: Cover and refrigerate for at least 6 hours or overnight, until the oats are soft and the mixture has thickened.
Step 4: In the morning, give each jar a stir. If it is thicker than you like, loosen it with a splash of milk.
Step 5: Top with the berries and eat cold, or warm briefly in the microwave if you prefer.
Tips
Frozen berries work well: add them straight to the jars the night before and they will thaw by morning, releasing juice into the oats.
Use old-fashioned rolled oats rather than steel-cut oats, which stay too firm without cooking. Quick oats work but turn softer.
If you need the oats to be gluten-free, buy oats labeled certified gluten-free, since regular oats are often processed alongside wheat.
Storage
Keep covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Add fresh berries just before eating for the best texture.
